Since this is a product wild harvested from the sea, you can expect to see a significant amount of salt on the Sea Moss Leaf itself. We filter these pieces out before blending them with filtered water to create our signature sea moss gel.

You can expect the taste to be very briney, much like the smell of the sea and salty. We recommend adding a tablespoon or two of sea moss or sea moss gel to smoothies, salads, or sauces to start but it is safe to consume as is if preferred.
